Instructions on Paying Traffic Citation - NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED

A traffic citation has been issued to you to appear before the Municipal Court of Alexander City, Alabama. If you desire a court hearing (to plead not guilty) you should appear at 1:00 pm on the date specified on the citation at the Courthouse in Alexander City, Alabama. You may settle your case without coming to court if the violation is one listed below. You may come by the office to pay a fine between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm Monday through Friday. When paying a fine before court it must be paid by 5 pm on the day before court or you will need to be in court on the next day. If the violation is not listed below, a court appearance is required on the date specified. Please pay with a Cashier's Check or Money Order. If you need a receipt, please send a self-addressed stamped envelope with your payment.
